Happy Monday!!
Morning Webbers!
I hope you slept well. I did. I got to treat myself yesterday to a fantastic movie yesterday. "The Equalizer" Starring Denzel Washington. I was impressed with the story line being from Boston and all. Lot's of familiar places in that movie. I don't want to give away to much of the plot. I will say go see it. I think he does a great job of inspiring people in the movie.
I have a mission this week to complete a doll house for my daughter.
With that being said here are some handy tips on Teaching Your Child to Be Self-Confident
Parents usually want their children to be self-confident - after all, self-confidence is a key component of success in life. But how do you teach this important life skill? Here are some tips.
Experts note that babies and later children who have their needs met consistently - needs for food, comfort, a listening ear, etc. - are learning the message that they are worth paying attention to; they learn they have worth. Some professionals believe this is best accomplished through the practice of attachment parenting. Others simply note that prompt and consistent meeting of needs will send a positive message to children.
Play with Your Child
Play is how your child learns about and interacts with his or her world. When you participate, you validate this playful approach. You are sharing your child's world and helping him or her to see that Mom and/or Dad like the same things they do.
Parents can get pushy about teaching their children the value of hard work or the completion of tasks. While these things are certainly important, the time in a person's life when they are young, playful children is quite short. So embrace this time and play with your child, and work in on the task-oriented training in addition to play time. Honestly, it can be therapeutic for parents to play with their kids!
Put on a Happy Face
Okay, not everyone is happy all the time, and parents get stressed. This is understandable, and there's no need to invent a perpetually-cheerful persona; it's not realistic. But if your children receive the constant message that they are the source of your stress, they may begin to take on that identity. They will see themselves as an annoyance, and this may undermine their self-confidence.
Watch What You Say
In a similar vein to the paragraph above, be careful about complaining about your children in their hearing. Yes, parenting is hard, and children can try your patience. But if you need to vent to your friends about the things your child does that drive you crazy, do it at a time when your child is not present or after he or she has fallen asleep.
Don't Withhold Yourself
If your child fails at something - and he or she will at some point - it's important not to withdraw or withhold love and attention. This sends the message that your child's achievements are more important that the child him/herself. Instead, make sure your child knows you love him or her no matter what failures happen.
Of course, this does not mean you as a parent need to accept constant failure or not encourage your child to do better. The important thing is for your child not to think your love is conditional. Privileges can be conditional; parental love shouldn't be.

Confidence
Hi Webbers,
Steps to Confidence
Building confidence is a necessary exercise for many of us. If self-confidence does not come naturally, building it up takes deliberate, conscious effort. While no step-by-step program is perfect, following are some steps that may help you build up your sense of confidence.
Goals
Write them down. Make a list of your goals, long and short term, and then below each goal write the steps it will take to get there. For example, if one of your goals is to launch a website to earn money, your list might look like this:
Launch Website
a. Reserve domain
b. Set up hosting
c. Contact web designer and discuss layout
d. Write a short ebook as a promotional giveaway
e. Write content and newsletters for site to cover several months after launch
Whether it's relationships, business ventures, or self-improvement, writing your goals and their necessary steps can make those goals much less formidable and much more doable. That alone helps you feel more confident in moving forward.
Stop Comparing
While it's good to have aspirations toward self-improvement, constantly comparing yourself to the best of the best in your realm can get discouraging. For example, if you'd like to have a talk radio show or Podcast, you might be inspired by high-profile radio hosts; being inspired by them is fine, but beating yourself up because you are not exactly like they are - complete with millions of listeners - will only discourage you.
Build a Positive Self-Image
It seems that when you are just certain you are going to fail before you try something, you are more likely to fail when you do try it. If you have a negative self-image and think you just can't achieve anything, it's likely that you won't - thus underscoring this false impression about yourself. Stop listening to the negative inner voice and instead tell yourself that you can achieve your goals and, even if you fail, it's not because you are a bad person or because you didn't try.
Get to Know Yourself
This means spending some quiet time thinking or writing in a journal - some quiet time by yourself in which you assess your strengths, weaknesses, and personality. What are your character traits? What quirks and talents do you have? Pretend like you are being interviewed and that the interviewer is trying to get to know you. What questions would they ask?
Turn off the Media
For a while, it might be good to turn off the TV and put down the magazines. The perfect-people images found in the media can be discouraging for those who are struggling with self-confidence.

Moving
Good morning Webbers,
You might be wondering why the different blog address. I have moved away from Aion as it is going to be a product and I am going to do business as Tim Thomas. I am finishing up my current courses and I feel ready to share the information I have learned. I am working on the site www.2-help-u.com to be a resource site for any and all who want to pursue personal development. It will still be a few months till it is complete. I am adding more and more products and resources to it.
I currently have openings for clients. If you know anyone that is having a problem or challenge have them get in touch with me. My first session is always free. It lets me see if we are a good fit. I am available to meet one on one, by phone or over the internet (email, skype, and others). I also work with small business in the challenges they have and customer service.

What is Life Coaching
Hi Webbers,
A lot of people ask me what I do. When I mention I am a coach they immediately got to a sport or fitness coach. I do have qualification in fitness and certain sports coaching. I definitely operate on a very different level. We do share some similarities as in accountability and striving for a goal. A lot of times my clients goal change from when we start. It is definitely about winning. Winning the game of life. From relationships to personal improvement. I also coach people in their business and work towards results as an increase in their sales or where they have profit leaks in their business.

What is life coaching plain and simple:
"Life coaching is a possibilities building relationship, between a life coach and a client, for the purpose of improving the clients life and work. Life coaching helps individuals create the changes they want in all aspects of their lives. It is a process that helps clients get unstuck and move plans forward to successful completion." - A life coaching workbook - from Phyllis Reardon
How does it work? As a coach we find what drives you. We work on specific changes that can be very small at first. As you get better at it we use strategies and work out different scenarios.We set clear goals and monitor them closely. We figure out what you need and develop the resources to get you there.
Life coaching is not counseling or therapy.

Get Moving!
Hi Webbers,
I hope all is well on this Monday evening. As I settle down
with an evening cup of Joe and reflect on the day. I stayed up way to late last
night. Sometimes I get so intrigued with a movie I will let the time just roll
on by. Last night was the last Harry potter film. I enjoyed watching it as my
daughter drifted off to sleep. Finishing after 1 AM left me depleted this
morning.
I continue to chisel away at my business. I have made more
changes and have developed to just work under my name Coach Tim Thomas. I am
working on my core program that will be digitally available for anyone. I have
found that not all people want or need one on one coaching but could use a
maintenance program.
On top of that I have made my mission statement this is not
my statement but it sang to me as I read it. I am using it to draft my mission
statement and will tweak it as I go.
My name is Tim Thomas. I live by design. I create balance in
work, play & community. I inspire those I interact with. My mission is to
give, for giving is what I do best. I will seek to learn, for learning is the
basis for growth and growing is the key to living. I will seek first to
understand for understanding is the key to finding value, and value is the
basis for respect, decisions and action. This should be my first act with my
wife, my family, and my business, I want to help influence the future
development of people and organizations. I want to teach my children and others
to love and laugh, to learn and grow beyond their current bounds. I will build
personal business, and civic relationships by giving in frequent little ways.
Through this I will earn my value with others.
I am planning a date for a mastermind group? Any interest? Reach

My fitness plan is coming together after a year of getting
back at it. I am making small gains. I am starting to regain energy and have
started some cardio 2 miles every other day. My diet is substantially smaller
than it ever has been. I try to make wise choices. Breakfast consists of a
banana and a yogurt. Lunch is a salad with balsamic vinaigrette. Dinner is whatever
the wife throws at me. I allow for one or two ginger ales a week.
My sleep needs to get better I am trying to push for 6-8
hours a night to see if I can rejuvenate a bit. I use progressive relaxation
and healing tones to go to sleep.
My daily exercise routine is to rise at 4:30 AM stationary
bike 20 – 30 minutes. San-Shin 1 element x 10 reps x 4 element. Then to sit-ups
1 x 30 and then push-ups 1 x 30. My day goes so much better when I start that
way. At night I run and on my off days I shadow box.

Right to it
Morning Webbers,
Hope you are well. It is Monday and I am getting right to it. I have a lot on my agenda to do today. I have to get it all done. I have worked out this morning and eaten breakfast now I am drinking my coffee and working on my social media.
This weekend proved to be an interesting journey for me. I have been working on more of the mind science aspect of things. I am trying to gain a deeper understanding of my own emotions. One of them is mental choice and how to control the flow of that emotion. To be able to feel it at 100 percent and channel it as a positive. I understand physiology comes into play. Breath does as well. Along with our mental state. One piece in particular is the emotional charge that comes off of it that interests me. I fell somehow that first moment the surge that comes from that is where you have to decide how you are going to channel that energy. Sometime it is like being hit by a huge wave just crashing down on you that you missed the timing and now it is to late and you are just reacting (thrashing) in the aftermath that is more powerful than the initial surge. More research on this to follow....

My daughter made me so proud yesterday. She had a purse full of coins and I asked her to borrow a quarter and she gladly gave it. Proud moment for me that 4 years old she is willing to help with nothing in return. I had to reward for her kindness so we went and fetched her a present.

Win or Loose

Hi Webbers,How are you? I am crazy busy as usual. I am living a blessed and amazing life. I don't have enough time in a day to finish most things. They roll over to the next day get pushed aside and I will get to it later.
Part of my day today was studying about a Win - Win attitude as taught by Franklin Covey. Now here it is towards the end of the day and life throws the lesson right up at me.
I work in a business where I take a lot of losses throughout the day sometimes even the wins seem like a loss. There was a time when this bothered me and stressed me to the max. I enjoy winning and realize I cannot be the #1 choice for my clients all the time. These are business decisions of course and sometimes the client doesn't want the best. They will settle on price. I always wish them luck and hope it works out for them and that I am there should they reconsider.
Tonight after closing one computer and moving to the next then realizing I need to take a shower from an earlier hair cut I received today. My daughter asked for a race. I had to oblige. Now I am that dad that believes in raising my child up and letting her win all the time. This was the first time I actually with intent beat her. To my amazement she said I cheated. I asked her how I cheated. I was shocked and needed to understand. I have seen this pattern when her and her mom play. She stated I was faster. I asked - how does that make me a cheater? She said because I run faster. I had to giggle to myself and explain to her that sometimes as much as we want to win we can only do our best.. If we push our self to our limit and not held anything back. We may have lost the race but we have won our personal challenge and that was not to give up.
My training has taught me to never give up. I hope to transfer that to my daughter. I have been told my whole life that I cannot do a lot of things. I have always been determined to do them. The best part of the lesson was after understanding and explaining this to my daughter she wanted a rematch.
She is a very fast runner and I will have to oblige. I bet she wins "wink, wink"

Working on it
Hi Webbers,
I have been working hard on changing and adding many things to my business and soon will be looking to polish it up. Right now I am just stacking as much information as I can. In regards to my health I have just weighed in at 221 lbs and in 3 months I want to weigh in a 210. My goal is to be 190 lbs or less by 2015. I can do this and will do this. I am behind schedule at the moment due to different factors. One being my lack of motivation.
Today I have started a new journey. I am working to get my coaching practice to double in size. I am also pushing to change some things in my life. I am struggle with a few health problems and I am determined to beat it. If I can be of service to you please do not hesitate to call on me.

Sleepy 6/11/14
Hi Webbers,
Happy morning to all of you. I have been awake since 11:00 PM. I thought I would catch some shut eye with my daughter around 7 or 8 ish. I tell you when take a nap together it is like putting two batteries end to end. I am surprised we don't internally combust. It is unbelievable how peaceful it of a sleep it is and how refreshed I awake to. Needless to say at 3:43 in the am. I am going to feel this for the rest of the day.
That is okay. I am preparing to take a little vacation over the next week to prepare for the rest of my year. I am expecting to see a good friend in a few weeks. Which I am sure we will have an absolute blast.
In preparation for this next six months. I have had to make some adjustments one is with my facebook friends. I had a lot of peeps on their. Some I knew, Some I didn't either way I needed to clean that so called friends list up. Some people noticed and requested to be friends again which I gladly accepted. Some people got pissed at me because I dropped them. I am sure some could care less. The whole point of it was to see who would. I must have cut about 300 people. As I prepare myself for the next chapter I had to make sure I wasn't wasting energy on relationships that had 0 (zero quality).
What am I preparing for? I need to dedicate my energy to fix my version of my life wheel. As you can see it is not a wheel I am not sure what shape that is as a Success Coach. I strive to balance everyone else's wheel. In the interim it appears I have neglected mine. This was just a quick exercise I did as I prepare my business to go to a full digital platform - More to come on that. Home was a 5 - what does that mean. First of all for your life wheel you pick ten areas of your life that are important to YOU then your place them on a wheel and grade them 1-10.
With my HOME I wanted to be at a 10 meaning just being home gave me some energy to do what I need to do. You can see it is giving me a 5. This is in the middle and there is always a bit of fluctuation. However being in flux at an 8 would give me more joy. Instead of coming home from one job and sitting in one spot I have decided to add some variety. Like doing what I did tonight and just snuggle up to my little princess.
Work was at an 8 for both my regular work and my business. I function at an 8 I could give it a ten. In being honest with myself it will be a 10 when my coaching practice is full time and it can carry the household. With either job there is not much dissatisfaction.
Free time is important to me. This is down time where I can literally just veg out. I rated it at an 8 because I can take down time when I WANT to.
Family is at an 8 and trust me it isn't all sunshine and rainbows we are talking on average here. I still screw up and piss the wife off and she does the same to me. However we are finding better ways to communicate and support each other. I love this part of it. Included in that is our extended family who I love to see and spend time with. How can I make this a 10 you may ask. One thing that would turn that up for me is a bit more financial freedom. However there is a give and take this is where the fun starts. My free time and some thing else would need to decrease. Is that good or bad? I look at it this way. when I put free time side by side with family I could let the free time go. Why is that? I get more of a charge from spending time with my family compared to having free time.
Friends I rated at a three. That is not a good rating for me I love people and I have a lot of business people that I spend time with. However that is business. There is an image and some personal things that you just don't discuss. Being a people person that really is not a good number for me. Since I am mended from the majority of my medical problems it is time to get that up to a 10. I need to get back into some social activities some real human interaction. I am going to look at a new gym this week. I already have my boxing gym set up. I need to just make it happen.

Monday 6/2/14
Hello Webbers,
I am sitting typing my blog and reflecting on my day. I had one expensive afternoon and I am now sitting listening to Harrison Klein and his I AM Effect. Is it coincidence or fate. With the creation of my own I AM. I came up with that by stripping away all the parts of what we are trying to achieve as coaches. My answer was I AM. He is a great speaker and I am enjoying listening to his theory.
I am working on an online content platform to share the information I have to teach to all my clients. I am undertaking this as I work on finishing my studies before the end of the summer. I will be looking for people to test the platform if you have an interest e-mail info at aionnh.com.
I also am undertaking some more business classes to sharpen my professional skills. I need to get back to my fitness training and get at it even more. I have been slacking a bit the past few weeks.

I am sitting typing my blog and reflecting on my day. I had one expensive afternoon and I am now sitting listening to Harrison Klein and his I AM Effect. Is it coincidence or fate. With the creation of my own I AM. I came up with that by stripping away all the parts of what we are trying to achieve as coaches. My answer was I AM. He is a great speaker and I am enjoying listening to his theory.
I am working on an online content platform to share the information I have to teach to all my clients. I am undertaking this as I work on finishing my studies before the end of the summer. I will be looking for people to test the platform if you have an interest e-mail info at aionnh.com.
I also am undertaking some more business classes to sharpen my professional skills. I need to get back to my fitness training and get at it even more. I have been slacking a bit the past few weeks.

Elemental Emotions
Hi Webbers,
I hope all is well. I have been experiencing an exciting time for myself these past few weeks. First off I have been trying to organize a lot of information on a digital platform. I am not ready yet to unveil it. If you have seen any of my I am posts. You may have an idea. As I was sitting and going back and forth about how to move forward. I was thinking of what to call the coaching project. I came up with "I AM". It is simple and to the point. As I prepare this program for its launch. I needed a digital platform. I am working on that now. It may not be done but I will release it once I am happy with the look and update as I progress. stay tuned.
Next I wanted to discuss these elemental emotions (just a name I call them). In my martial art training I received over the years. We used a system that contains the use of elemental properties that make up nature. Earth, wind, fire and water now I find it is used in coaching. I have had a few discussions about them with other coaches and their thoughts and feelings on the use of them. Mostly I am amazed at what I feel really connects the dots. I was listening to a piece on split personalities and how we all have them. More importantly how we engage or enrage in using them. In contrast to the elements I have found that we can engage our multiples and flow in between them and use their strengths even though we have been taught to run a separate program when we need them. Which leads us to our rage. It conflicts with our program that we learned at a young age for whatever reason by someone who loves us. I was taught the same thing with the elemental's although I did not have the understanding till now. Seeing how we can learn to flow from one to the other and encourage the use of them to create the outcome we need. I also learned some new questions to ask that help me flow from one to another. some of those are: What is the outcome? What am I trying to achieve. Is it good for me? Is it good for others? Is it sustainable? Is it true? As I run through those questions it puts me in the right space to accomplish my task and move on. As I learn more about the elemental system I will give more insight as it pertains to coaching. I have some thoughts on it however I wan't to make sure they are correct before I go into them here.
Just some information I wanted to get out of my head. Thanks for reading and more to come soon.

Final Paper for RMT Core 200
Hi Webbers,
I hope your weekend is going fantastic! I have my final
paper to write to graduate from my RMT Core 200 training. This training has
been phenomenal. It has advanced my coaching career immensely.
My final paper really isn’t a paper. I chose to go with a
more modern approach and write a blog post. This has to be about a concept or strategy
I learned in units 5-9. I am also incorporating a bit of the less modern
approach as well. This will also contain my research on a subject that interest
me and about my findings and how part of this work will be incorporated into my
practice.
In RMT (Robbins-MadanesTraining) core 200 mastery unit 6 -1.
We learn about the use of archetypes. Under this study we learn we can all
change. However we must want to and be willing to do what is necessary to
change and find a new way. We must discover our resources. We then leverage our
resources. One way is to make use of our archetypes.
Archetypes are characters that appear in myths and are
contained in each of us. These are based on four Jungian archetypes. I will
touch on them briefly and what each represent.
The Warrior – Action and strength.
The Magician – Humor and imagination.
The Lover – Deep connection.
The Sovereign – Vision and purpose.
My client for this purpose is real life. Unfortunately it is
my daughter Avery. My wife and I struggled for months. We had thoughts of the
worst. We went to the doctor multiple times and were told that she just needed
to be away from mom and dad. I am sure you want to know what the problem was or
is? The problem was that we could not leave her alone for a minute without a
meltdown. For those of you that do not know what a meltdown is. It is a total
breakdown of uncontrollable screaming crying, full on panic for about 15
minutes even when the event is over. Now before these episodes we could leave
her anywhere alone or not. At this time she was 3 years old.
My first event with this was trying to leave in the morning.
I went to the car as usual and was loading up my car to get ready to go to work
and drop Avery off at the baby sitters. As I did I can hear her screaming and
clawing at the door to get out. I am like what the hell is going on. I go in
and she says you are going to leave me. I said no I was loading up the car like
I said. However it was like she didn’t even hear me. I was like wow what the
hell. Now you may ask. Maybe she didn’t know I was going out. We have a very clear
communication. I get down to her level and speak right to her. We also have a
very large picture window and glass door that she can see me at my car. After
the episode I loaded her up and dropped her off our sitter my wife’s mom. I
called the wife to discuss with her. She said she didn’t know and maybe it
would pass.
On that weekend we did our normal grocery shopping in which
we do as a family. Then we get home and it is time to put the groceries away. I
put Avery in the house and tell her we are bringing in the groceries and does
she want to watch a movie. She melts down and just wants to be held. Needless
to say I did a poor job of controlling myself. I got angry and sat her on the
couch and told her to stay there. That did not work well at all. It actually
made it worse. Needless to say we all were in turmoil with each other. When we
all cooled down. The wife and I talked and of course both of us went to the
worst thought imaginable. We started looking at all sort of scenarios. We
discussed different options. I was at a loss. I used the resource I knew as a
parent form the example I was shown as a child by my parents and that was to
just yell and scream and demonstrate anger. We all know how well that worked…
In case you didn’t follow along it went horrible. I felt bad and guilty from
it. My wife felt threatened and confused. Avery was now worst off then if I had
just let the episode go. I said there has to be a better way.
The next episode occurred at My wife’s Deb mom’s house. Her
mom went out to get the mail. She exited by her back porch door. Avery was with
her cousin who is 5 and started to have her meltdown and said she needed her
Vasvous (what we call her grandmother). Her cousin did what any other child
would do with a crying child opened the back door and let her out. Well Avery
went down the porch stairs and around the garage as her vasvous came back in
her front door. This left Avery #1 on the driveway and #2 with about 25 feet to
a very busy main road. Luckily vasvous walked in and asked where Avery was and
her cousin said outside and she caught her before anything worse can happen.
Well you can imagine the phone call from the wife. We immediately
were at the doctors that afternoon discussing the situation. Our doctor is a
very good pediatrician and respect his advice. He said this was normal and we should
get her involved in more activities. We tried some and it was not helping and
making it worse.
This went on for a few more weeks. I was listening to this
part of my course on Archetypes and following one of Tony Robbins lectures and
it hit my why not try giving her an Archetype to use. My wife thought I was
absolutely crazy when we discussed it.
I sat with my daughter and we talked about magical magicians
and princesses and how much I loved her. Most of all how she was my Jade (her
warrior) we played little games reinforcing each Archetype all week. We sat
that Saturday and talked about how strong Jade was and I anchored that to her.
Now we had all the ground work done. I asked her to be Jade for a moment while
I went to my car. She asked if she could see me even though she was Jade I said
of course. I went to the car and came back. There was a little bit of emotion
and I reinforced her as Jade and that everything was okay. We have exercised
this now for a year.
This weekend as I was preparing to type this paper up my
wife and daughter had decided to take a day off during the week and my wife had
the need to vacuum her car and had to leave Avery inside for a bit. Avery’s
response was go head momma I will just be Jade and be okay!
My other client was a young man who was eight years old and
had a fear of going to first floor restroom at night or traveling up and down
the stairs alone. We have used the same process and have gained similar
results. His pattern is a little more of a habit and we are working on changing
it.
These have not been my only successes, as I have had the chance
to work with many children more with the martial arts than with coaching.
However I would always have them take on a warrior type character to get
through a challenge. I had just never viewed it as a useable tool outside of
martial arts. This has changed my thoughts on many of the tools that we use in
martial arts and how they can be expanded and used outside of their normal
place.
One thing I have learned as I worked with this strategy was
that I cannot let my feelings and thoughts override my clients.

Sunday 4/6/14

Morning Webbers,
The Sun is up and the morning is actually almost over. I have to tell you I am hoping this week has better results than last week. I do struggle with keeping my anger in check on occasion and last week was a test of how much control I have now. I came really close to loosing it. I managed to succeed but man I tell ya. I have a lot more practice to do. I was not happy with the results. I want to be free to choose what I get angry over. Don't get me wrong I believe being angry is a good thing as long as we use the fuel it gives the right way. I tend to use it in a very destructive manner when I get to that point.
I have been through a lot of training with different solutions and views on this problem. I also have a lot of triggers that can set me off. One method that works for me is to just pause mentally and physically and to roll through the scenario and look at what the outcome will be. In my training with RMT I have been taught to look at the the outcome and the ecology. Is it good for me. Is it good for others. Is it sustainable. If the answer is not yes to those three questions. Then perhaps it is not the right decision. I apply this to my anger. How could you apply that process to your problem? Is it relevant? This is what I help people with finding the right strategy or tool to enhance their life.
It is now 2:25 on Sunday and I had a great conversation with another coach from across the pond on a similar subject. I am amazed at how brilliant we are as people. She is using a system that is tens of thousands of years old to handle relationship problems. I was amazed how she is currently adapting it to her work and I am looking forward to the finished project.

As for my business side of things I am testing OfficeClip. It seems to be a truly flexible software that will allow me to handle my business on a more mobile platform. It contains a robust CRM and project management platform which I am in need of. I am still reviewing a lot of the functionality. Look for my full review in the upcoming weeks.

Monday 3/24/14
Hi Webbers,
Whats going on I am starting this blog entry on Monday morning it is 6:01 I have just finished working out. I like to do a short 20 minute bike ride. Just to get the heart pumping. I usually do some sit-ups and push-ups as well. My favorite part is doing a martial warm-up. Which consists of a couple sets with the body working on different planes of motions. I was curious this morning what do you do to get your day going? Is it drinking that first cup of coffee? Laying in bed dreading having to really get up? I have been there I know the feeling. Isn't it time you started taking on the day. Wouldn't it feel great to be ahead instead rushing to keep up? Some days the only time I am ahead of my day is when I first rise. everything can quickly turn into a snowball then into an avalanche. A lot of this is what I fill my day with. For the most part of it, it really is a lot of nothing. How many time sucking activities do you have in your life? What is the benefit? Is it good for you or your family? Is it good for you? Can you continue to do it for as long as you want. Probably not. Find your passion. The juice that would allow you to continue on only minutes of rest and still feel energized. Don't know how find a coach to help you today.
Most people that know me understand I am driven to research topics of interest until exhaustion. In a few areas of my life I have done that. Now it is time to take that research and test it. Time to open the lab and blow stuff up. I have few things I have achieved in my life some are proud moments some not. However they shape where I stand today. They drive my thoughts, attitude and desire. What drives you?

Obsolete
Morning Webbers,
Thursday evening I cam home to find my girls watching TV at my house which is not normal I asked my wife if her computer worked and she said "no". Upon investigation I discovered our router had a fatal failure on the wireless side. We also had a bad cable modem. Needless to say our smart home was now incapacitated. We only had our smart phones.
Unfortunately with the workload I had we were down until Saturday afternoon when I could visit one of them box stores that is supposed to have everything you need except the actual knowledge of what to do. After some ill advice and me shaking my head saying I should have known better. However I am so far out of the technology route I had no idea what AC technology compared to N Tech meant.
This got me thinking about how obsolete some things can be and the only reason we don't change is because we are comfortable. The reason I bring this up couldn't be that this applies to how we live. Redoing the same patterns every day even though our world around us changes constantly. Do you hang on to some unneeded patterns or skills even though they no longer serve you. I know I have. I did not see how old the technology was that was on my desk a 2001 cable modem. It worked!! Why should I change it. Lets see the old one couldn't take advantage of the speed or the bandwidth the cable could now produce. The wireless is much more powerful now as well. With the enhanced services my daughter can now watch her streaming Disney movies without interruption or any lagging. This is where a coach can help. Isn't it time to change and live the life you desire. Update your skills and or patterns to fit the world you live in now.
I have also struggled with how to organize I am a pen paper guy stuck in a digital world. I have a lot of work and I go back and forth from binders to electronic technology. I have spent a lot of money on those fancy organizers and end up not using them for very long. I am having to teach myself how to use the programs in the CLOUD. I am a huge fan of GOOGLE. So in my travels this weekend I picked up a multi-page scanner and am working at placing all my documents on to a digital file. I am also digitizing all my forms. Talk about welcome to the future. I have a six inch stack of paper that my daughter can now use for scrap paper. Which means I have more room for hard copies. Yes I am still old school and believe in keeping hard copies of hard to come by information. I am sure at some point soon that will be as obsolete as a vinyl record.
Webbers that is my thought for the day. What could use an upgrade in your life? By changing that one thing how would it effect the rest of your life. In my case I can now use that speed and power to accomplish more tasks which means less time at the keyboard and more time for my wife and daughter.

Thursday evening I cam home to find my girls watching TV at my house which is not normal I asked my wife if her computer worked and she said "no". Upon investigation I discovered our router had a fatal failure on the wireless side. We also had a bad cable modem. Needless to say our smart home was now incapacitated. We only had our smart phones.
Unfortunately with the workload I had we were down until Saturday afternoon when I could visit one of them box stores that is supposed to have everything you need except the actual knowledge of what to do. After some ill advice and me shaking my head saying I should have known better. However I am so far out of the technology route I had no idea what AC technology compared to N Tech meant.
This got me thinking about how obsolete some things can be and the only reason we don't change is because we are comfortable. The reason I bring this up couldn't be that this applies to how we live. Redoing the same patterns every day even though our world around us changes constantly. Do you hang on to some unneeded patterns or skills even though they no longer serve you. I know I have. I did not see how old the technology was that was on my desk a 2001 cable modem. It worked!! Why should I change it. Lets see the old one couldn't take advantage of the speed or the bandwidth the cable could now produce. The wireless is much more powerful now as well. With the enhanced services my daughter can now watch her streaming Disney movies without interruption or any lagging. This is where a coach can help. Isn't it time to change and live the life you desire. Update your skills and or patterns to fit the world you live in now.
I have also struggled with how to organize I am a pen paper guy stuck in a digital world. I have a lot of work and I go back and forth from binders to electronic technology. I have spent a lot of money on those fancy organizers and end up not using them for very long. I am having to teach myself how to use the programs in the CLOUD. I am a huge fan of GOOGLE. So in my travels this weekend I picked up a multi-page scanner and am working at placing all my documents on to a digital file. I am also digitizing all my forms. Talk about welcome to the future. I have a six inch stack of paper that my daughter can now use for scrap paper. Which means I have more room for hard copies. Yes I am still old school and believe in keeping hard copies of hard to come by information. I am sure at some point soon that will be as obsolete as a vinyl record.
Webbers that is my thought for the day. What could use an upgrade in your life? By changing that one thing how would it effect the rest of your life. In my case I can now use that speed and power to accomplish more tasks which means less time at the keyboard and more time for my wife and daughter.

Morning lets get going
I hope your day is treating you well. I am wiping the sleep dust from my eyes and feeling good. I spent the evening feeling upset. I am listening to my powerclass for RMT coaching.
What you focus on increases!
Our thoughts create our experience of reality. What the thinker thinks, the prover proves. If we believe there is a shortage, our neurology sorts & filters incoming data to prove that belief to be true.
Do you use a scarcity mentality vs abundance mentality?
The old-time economists used to think we lived in a universe of fixed resources. This we know now is untrue. It didn't take human ingenuity into account. There used to be no money on the planet, & look how much there is now! We live in an abundant universe.
Change what you're focusing on. What do I mean by focus? The combination of your thoughts & emotions. People who are truly wealthy feel wealthy.

A visit with an old friend
I am visiting an old friend today. As a good friend of mine says friends who needs them just remove the r and what do you have. His view of the world always makes me smile. This is a good Saturday as we prepare to leave. I have to move our cars around and get the truck ready.
We had a great time yesterday it is now Sunday and it is almost 9:00 PM and we are winding down from a lazy day.
How do you run your business. Is it planned or is it the other extreme and runs in chaos. In today's business world you have to leverage your time with systems. That is how most franchises work. Plan your work and work the plan.
These systems such as flow charting, policy and procedures run your business.
You hire people and train them to run your system.
You are the leader.
Now it is Monday and I am still pecking away at this entry....

Working Hard On A Monday
Hi Webbers,
Today is Monday and the weekend was filled with catching up on paperwork and course material. I have so far cleaned up from as far back as 2008. What a lot of useless information I had put away I couldn't get to it then but it interested me so I hung on to it. I do know better. I am evolving as I get older. I realize we hang on to many things even though they do not serve us anymore. What are you hanging on to? Is it adding to your life or taking away from it. If it is taking away you really should let it go. This year I am focusing being the change I want to see in the world. I am challenging myself everyday to example instead of a warning. I am striving to be the example of the person I want to be everyday. So far I have had plenty of FAILURE, I just try again the next day. As I practice being mindful there is only the present moment. You cannot relive what has passed and you cannot think into the future. There is only the now. What is your personal challenge for the year? I would love to hear about it. I have other challenges but this is my top one.
My exercise for today was Sanshin x 10 each element, 50 situps, 25 pushups, 40 weighted full squats, bicep curls x 40, shoulder press x 40, bench press x 20, flys x 20, tricep extension x 20. This is all done with only 10 lbs in each hand.
I am reading some great material right now My voice will go with you by Sidney Rosen - It is the teaching tales of Milton Erickson.
In another book I was reading I ran across this great acronym to T.H.I.N.K. while I am saying or typing. It comes from a think campaign that I could not locate via the web.
However it speaks to remember before you speak or type:
True - Is it?
Helpful - Are you sure?
Important - Is what I am saying important?
Necessary - Is it?
Kind - Is what I am typing kind?
I thought it was a great way to stay in the moment while communicating. What skill do you use to maintain a good communication set when speaking or typing? It would be great to hear some other ideas.

Really what a Monday
Life is an opportunity, benefit from it. Life is beauty, admire it. Life is bliss, taste it. Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it. Life is a duty, complete it. Life is a game, play it. Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it. Life is a song, sing it. Life is a struggle, accept it. Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it. Life is luck, make it. Life is too precious, do not destroy it. Life is life, fight for it.
Hi Webbers,
Been a busy day and I still have plenty to do. Tomorrow will be a challenge. Lets see where to begin. Why not with the ice covered drive to drop off Avery and then to work seeing more accidents and slides than I care for. Please learn to slow down being late is never half as bad as never arriving.
The office was a mess with too many things left undone and working with a member of my team on what our challenge is for the year and how we are going to make our target. With all this mayhem I missed my 2:00 webinar. This was with TBT and I did want to sit in on it. I WAS STILL WORKING.
If that wasn't enough I was behind in my chores at home. You see I had an amazing day yesterday. I got to attend a New Years Workout in the Lynn Woods. Hosted by a close friend and senior in the tradition I study I got the chance to take on my first real training in a year. It felt good and albeit I had some rust to knock off. It felt great to move around. The folks that came out to train were all great and was a pleasure to speak with them.
I have learned to take many things in stride especially in the past couple years. I found out I lost a person I have known for a long time over the weekend he was only 55 a young man who will be missed. Later this evening a family member has gone in for emergency surgery I am praying for them right now as my wife is with them at the hospital. I am hoping for the best outcome or a miracle.
With all that being said my response today is much different than years ago. I am drinking green tea as I type this and am practicing high impact breathing to take away the stress. The old me would be drinking way to much of some other liquid and would be angrier than a bear with his nose stuck in a bee hive.
I really do appreciate the tools I have learned as I venture deeper in to the training of human change and life design such simple techniques to change our physiology and our state.
I encourage everyone who reads this to take a few minutes and just enjoy some deep belly breathing in through the mouth out through the nose. If you start to get dizzy maybe not so deep. Feel you state change to one of more calm and peace.
Stay safe out there and live your life by design till tomorrow.
